Greetings!
My name is Gesse Rosa.
I provide comprehensive instruction in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics for homeschooling students, covering subjects from Pre-Algebra through Pre-Calculus and from Chemistry Fundamentals to College-level Organic Chemistry. My structured teaching methodology is designed to meet students at their current level of understanding, enabling them to not only bridge any gaps in their education but also to develop the proficiency required to excel in the mathematics and science sections of the ACT and SAT examinations. Furthermore, students are well-prepared to challenge and successfully test out of numerous first-year college courses.
Why I Teach
I have a deep passion for education and teaching; if it were possible, I would gladly do it without charge. My greatest reward is witnessing the transformation of a student from saying, "I don't know math" or "I'm not good at math," to confidently declaring, "I love math."
My Way
-
I customize and personalize instruction to meet each student's unique needs. Rather than adhering to a traditional academic calendar, I focus on allowing students to progress at a pace that matches their readiness and willingness to learn, ensuring genuine understanding and lasting achievement.
-
I significantly reduce the time required to master the subject compared to traditional educational institutions.
-
Not only do students learn at a much faster pace, but they also engage with the subject at a far deeper and more complex level than is typically possible through traditional methods. With my approach, students develop true understanding rather than relying on rote memorization, allowing them to retain and apply their knowledge well into college and beyond.
-
Every dedicated and engaged student who works with me completes their studies fully prepared for the science and math sections of the ACT and SAT, reaching at least a first-year college level. This level of achievement is often attained during the early teenage years.
